Responsibilities:

1. Material Transportation:

   • Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
   • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while driving.

2. Warehouse Management:

   • Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials in the warehouse.
   • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
   • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring the correct materials are delivered to the right locations.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safe and reliable operation of company vehicles.
   • Report any vehicle issues promptly to the appropriate personnel for repairs.

4. Communication:

   • Maintain effective communication with project managers, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely transportation of materials.

5. Documentation:

   • Complete and maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to transportation and warehouse activities.
   • Collect and verify delivery receipts and other necessary documentation.

6. Safety Compliance:

   • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
   • Participate in safety training programs and adhere to safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a construction or warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of construction materials and their handling is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
